Adsorption Characteristics of Poly Pyrrol-Poly Aniline Nanofiber for Mo(VI) from Aqueous Solutions

In recent years, in addition to advanced and strategic industries such as the nuclear industry, according to environmental management and the elimination of pollutants in these industries has always been considered. In this study, synthesis of poly pyrrol-poly aniline nanofiber was carried out using sol-gel method to investigate its Mo(VI) adsorption ability. Synthesized PPY-PANI nanofibers were characterized using the x-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, infrared (IR) spectroscopy. The adsorption process has been investigated as a function of pH, contact time by Inductively coupled plasma (ICP) and the optimum conditions were obtained. According to results, the adsorption was dependent on the pH of the medium whereby the removal efficiency increases as the pH turns to the acidic range.
